2022 Community Celebration Gala
On January 8, 2022 the Greater Sabetha Community Foundation hosted the annual Community Celebration Gala. This event is planned each year to celebrate the recent Give to Grow Match results and other successes for the community. In addition, GSCF nominates Sabetha residents who have “Served Sabetha Strong.” This award is given to three families who have generously given of themselves in actions, deeds and examples of caring about the community and its people. This year, Roger and LaVonne Aberle, Doug and Sharron Clark and Von and Jerre Lauer were recognized for their years of giving back through elected office, service on nonprofit boards, managing the Sabetha Food Pantry, and numerous other activities.
In addition, the Sabetha Chamber of Commerce presented its Business of the Year award to Community National Bank.
The public was invited to attend the Gala to enjoy the feeling of community and those who attended were treated to a beautiful table of heavy appetizers prepared by Sheri Lay.
This enjoyable evening was made possible due to the generosity of KSi and Schenck Process.
