Community Memorial Fund
Giving a gift in honor or memory of a loved one to the Greater Sabetha Community Foundation is a meaningful way to celebrate life.
In the fall of 2017, the Sabetha Community Memorial Fund was created to endow pooled memorial gifts in memory of loved ones having local roots or connections to the area. Through the combined gifts made to the foundation to honor local loved ones, the principal will continue to grow.
Each person honored through this fund by their family will have a dedicated page and, if so desired, his or her picture. A minimum of $250 is needed to be shown on the dedicated memorial page.
Multiple memorials are contributions made by others in memory of a community member and are listed on the multiple memorial page.
A virtual Memorial Wall has also been established on the Greater Sabetha Community Foundation website at www.sabethafoundation.org. As annual community grants are made, contributor information will be published in local media and foundation materials.
The Greater Sabetha Community Foundation (GSCF) is a unique charitable vehicle offering the opportunity to give back to our area to improve quality of life now, and for the future. After the initial donation to establish the memorial, tax deductible donations of any amount may be made to honor and remember the person throughout the coming years.
